Experts in Clinical Toxicology

Clinical Toxicology utilizes Immunoassay and LC-MS/MS technologies to detect illicit drugs, prescribed controlled medications and their metabolites in urine and other biological matrices. Trilab offers an incredible flexibility allowing clinicians to create or select custom panels best suited for the client population or individual

Quantitative Testing

Quantitative testing, performed using LC-MS/MS instruments, allows clinicians to track individual drug/metabolite concentrations over a course of time. It allows to confirm compliance with prescribed controlled substance regimen, inform of any changes in use patterns, warn illicit use has occurred and provide useful information on illicit use timing and dosage.

Qualitative Testing

Qualitative Testing is performed using Immunoassay methods. Even though the results are reported as “positive” and “negative”, it is a very useful and extremely fast way to assess the class of drugs (e.g. opiates) a sample is positive for.

MAPs/TAPs

Trilab Health also offers clinicians the option to use Medication Adherence Panels (MAPs) and Treatment Adherence Panels (TAPs) as more comprehensive and customized tools to provide optimized care to their clients.
