Chongxu Zhang PhD
Molecular Technologist Supervisor
Dr. Chongxu Zhang is the Molecular Technologist Supervisor at Trilab. Zhang has over 10+ years of clinical medical experience. He studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago at the College of Medicine. Then he went on to get his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of New Hampshire where he graduated in 2011. His work background includes working as a Postdoctoral Associate & Instructor. Then went on to become a Lab director and Sr. Scientist at Miami VA Healthcare System Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep, and Allergy.
While at Trilab Dr. Zhang oversees the entire molecular staff, preparing the lab for any CLIA/COLA inspections, and making sure all the samples are processed in a timely manner for Trilab’s patients and partners. He genuinely puts the patients at the forefront.
When Dr. Zhang isn’t at Trilab, he maintains a healthy lifestyle by playing basketball, taking hikes, going to the movies, and listening to music.
